My whole life has been a crazy journey of learning and moving and discovery. I grew up in the suburbs of Minnesota until I was about ten. This is the year I learned how to uproot ones life and virtually start over. It seems this uprooting at such a young age may have started a trend in my life. College did not bring as grand of a move as Minnesota to California but two hours was just enough distance to once again start a new life. College conquered and about seven years living in the same county it was time to do some traveling. Most people might take a week or two off work and go to Europe or Greece when the travel bug bites, but not this all or nothing girl. Once again I uprooted my life and moved to New Zealand for a year. You can read about some of those adventures in my blog. That trip was actually the inspiration to create this blog, which has since evolved and will hopefully continue to do so. Returning from the far away land I found myself starting over again this time in Austin, TX. While the trend seems to continue on it’s journey of uprooting, it has brought me many friends and taught me much along the way.
